Dogs and home boarding.
If your dog is friendly and sociable with people and other dogs then this is the right option for you and your dog.
Incessant barkers are not suitable for home boarding.
Entire males cannot be boarded.
Bitches in season cannot be boarded.
Your dog should have an up to date annual vaccination record (from your vet). I will need to see the vaccination card.
I would also strongly recommend keeping your dog immunised against kennel cough annually.
Please also ensure that your dog is up to date with flea treatments before their holiday.
In order to keep your dog safe, I attach one of my own security tags while they are on holiday with me.
For insurance purposes, if you wish your dog to be walked off lead, your written consent is required.
Your dog will have free access to a secure garden.
What to bring for your dog.
You provide your dog's usual food, any bedding they are familiar with (it helps them settle in having something that smells of home!) and their lead.
In case of a problem.
In the event of your dog requiring veterinary attention, he/she would be taken to your own vets if practicable or to my own local vets if not.
I take emergency contact details from you and would contact you if necessary. Costs would be reclaimed from you on your return.
If I experience any problems with your dog (such as aggression) that I cannot resolve, as a last resort I will contact you and discuss alternatives. Boarding fees are not refundable in these instances and may result in additional fees being incurred.
Should any owners fail to collect their dogs, after a period of 7 days they will be deemed to belong to me and steps will be taken to re-home them.
Before boarding a dog with me for the first time, you visit me with your dog so that all parties can meet and the dog can familiarise himself with my house. We can then arrange practice daycare sessions to ensure your dog is familiar with the routine.
I only take a limited number of bookings so I would advise to check on availability as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Your deposit (non-refundable) secures your dog's place. The deposit is payable at the time of the visit (or on booking if the dog has already boarded here before.) The balance is payable on the day of arrival. If you return early from your holiday, no refund is payable. Cancellations within 48 hours of booking are chargeable at a rate of 50% of balance outstanding.
Payment of a deposit confirms acceptance of all terms & conditions as indicated on the website & agreement form.
**** please note that due to current demand I can only board dogs who regularly attend my doggy daycare.
